Share in our success and invest in our Republic campaign

Announcing the launch of our fundraising campaign on Republic.

Mitte was founded in 2016 and since then, we’ve been busy prototyping and developing our technology. A year later, we launched our project on Kickstarter successfully, made progress in the development and manufacturing of our machine, expanded our team from four to thirty-two people, and raised a successful investment seed round of $10.6 million.

Within this time, we have received overwhelming support from our community of investors, crowdfunding backers, business partners, and others from around the world. And our community has spoken – like us, they believe that nothing is more fundamental to life than water and it has the power to nourish our lives, providing more benefits than just hydration. They support our diverse and skillful team of engineers, nutritionists, and wellness experts who are committed to building sustainable hydration solutions.

We are committed to delivering healthy water* the way nature intended. Our unique purification and remineralization process removes impurities while adding back all the minerals and trace elements that other water purifiers remove. The result is drinking water that has less impurities and more goodness in every drop.

Now more than ever, we believe in what we’re doing – and would like to invite you to be a part of our journey.

Today, January 7, we have just launched an investment campaign on Republic for a limited time only, where you can invest and receive a return of investment within a maturity period. Unlike traditional funding rounds where only accredited investors can participate, our campaign allows our passionate community to join in this round of fundraising.

Recent legislation in the United States has created the opportunity to bring the best of the Silicon Valley to the rest of the country and the world. This allows non-accredited investors – the majority of the population (including those who reside outside of the U.S.) – to invest in startups.

It gives the 97% of people previously left behind access to startup investing: the power to choose the future we want to see by funding the companies we believe in. And equally important, it makes room for more entrepreneurs – because in a world where anyone can fund anyone, more ideals should get off the ground and grow.

“By investing in Mitte, you’re directly participating in our work towards a future where healthy* hydration is available to all in a convenient, affordable, and environmentally sustainable form. Where people can choose the water that suits their tastes and lifestyles, where plastic bottles are the exception rather than the rule. And this starts with bringing Mitte to market,” says Moritz Waldstein, CEO of Mitte.

Your support is extremely meaningful to our team. The fund raised will go towards our marketing activities and launch efforts in the U.S. market in 2019.

In line with our aim of inviting our community to share in our success and grow with our business, we have chosen to host our campaign on Republic, a platform that democratizes investing and levels out the fundraising landscape for founders and investors alike. It is an easy-to-use platform that makes startup investing truly accessible. To note, Republic is also part of a family of startup platforms together with AngelList, Product Hunt, and CoinList – known as one of the most trusted online startup ecosystems in the world.

In 2018, we built, tested, and iterated tirelessly. In 2019, we are excited to bring Mitte to our users. We are excited for you to join our movement to build sustainable solutions for healthy hydration and revolutionize the way we drink water at home. If you have any questions about this new campaign, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at [email protected].

We are launching a limited-time investment round on Republic that enables anyone to invest and partake in our movement to bring healthy* hydration to the masses. Share in our success and earn a return on your investment.
